KB TOUR & KB Tour 90 Japan (90 gram shaft)

Designed for better players, the KB Tour shaft was engineered with ‘moment of inertia analysis’ to increase stability from ‘grip to club head’ to enhance the results of well-executed swings. By reducing the mass and radius of each step in equal proportions along the shaft’s center line, the KB Tour shaft delivers optimum stability resulting in efficient energy transfer from the player’s hands to the club head. In addition, the KB Tour shaft incorporated step-by-step Moment of Inertia analysis to reduce shaft ‘interference’ during a player’s well-executed swing. Available in taper tip .355 only.

KB V-LAUNCH

The new KB V-Launch steel shaft is perfect for club builders and players who want to customize the shaft's effect on ball spin and ball flight. The KB V-Launch shaft features a parallel tip starting ‘blank’ shaft that allows for custom-fitting these performance options in a complete set of irons. In addition, the new KB V-Launch steel shaft, like the KB Tour, incorporates ‘moment of inertia analysis’ to increase stability from club head to the grip.
Available in parallel .370 tip only.

KB HYBRID

Hybrid clubs are a favorite option for trouble lies and for distances where fairway woods and long irons are problematic, but only the KB Hybrid shaft gives you high performance in hybrid clubs along with the feel and stability of advanced steel technology. Lighter weight and with more tip action, the new KB Hybrid steel shaft features a gradual step less taper starting at the anchor location (between the hands) and continuing to the tip just above the hosel). The wall thickness proportionately increases as the outside diameter decreases, which enhances stability and keeps the hybrid head tracking toward the target. Available in .370 tip only.

KB Technology

Golfers have been waiting for years to see a tangible difference in steel shaft design, so FST proudly introduces the KB Series steel shafts — an all-new premium line of steel shafts engineered by industry-acclaimed steel shaft designer Kim Braly and featuring advanced Moment of Inertia technology.

“Shaft performance is critical in placing the clubhead in the correct position at impact, but most steel shafts on the market today fail to reach the level of performance and feel necessary to respond effectively in the players’ hands, especially just prior to impact,” says Braly, whose steel shafts designs are currently being played by many of the Top 10 players in the world. “The KB steel shafts use an intelligent design to upgrade the performance with MOI technology and a proportional reduction in mass and radius during the step progression.”

The new KB Series steel shafts are unlike anything on the market today. FST researched a wide variety of tubular structures that endure large stresses or loads and applied a revolutionary new approach with MOI analysis. KB steel shafts also incorporate FST’s high-quality precision manufacturing processes, such as:

• Exclusive ‘Oil-Quench’ tempering method which produces shafts that are arrow-straight from butt to tip.
• Tapered tip construction to provide a solid metal-to-metal bond in the hosel and tour-proven feel at impact.
• Higher-than-traditional center of gravity construction to allow for more mass in the club head.
• Matching shaft weight and frequency to the strictest tolerances to ensure peak playing performance and guaranteed repeatability.

FST remains exclusively dedicated to the design and development of high-quality steel golf shafts, and KB technology will re-introduce true performance benefits of playing steel to golfers around the world.
